Janna Marlies Maron, Editor & Publisher
Self-proclaimed woman in progress, Janna Marlies Maron writes, edits, publishes and compulsively starts new projects. As a writer she hopes to inspire others to action by telling her personal story, and as a publisher she hopes to provide others the opportunity to do the same. She holds an MA in Creative Writing and teaches composition at Sacramento City College. When she’s not curating stories for Under the Gum Tree, you can find Janna tooling around town with her husband Jeremy on their red Vespa or holding down the fort at ThinkHouse Collective in Downtown Sacramento.
Stephanie Anderson, Editor
Stephanie Anderson is an instructor at the English Language Institute at California State University, Sacramento where she is passionate about sharing her love of language and stories with a diverse group of international students. She holds an MA in 20th Century English Literature and a certificate in TESOL, as well as being a credentialed adult educator. When not grading essays, she enjoys bike touring, teaching abroad in short stints, growing her own food, and taking an active role in several community and professional organizations. She’s been known to throw a good fundraiser or two, where you’ll find her sipping wine in front of the cheese tray.
Robin Martin, Editor
Robin Martin is a freelance writer and editor, whose work has appeared in Narrative Magazine, Rain Taxi, Word Riot, American River Review, and others. She is an assistant editor for Narrative Magazine, and an editor for the literary micro-mag Under the Gum Tree. Robin owns Two Songbirds Press, and offers publishing consultation and assistance to writers pursuing self-publishing. She performs evaluations and critiques of manuscripts and writing master class tutorials as well as editorial services, including substantive and line edits for papers, e-books, traditional fiction and non-fiction. She specializes in general fiction, biography, memoir, rock-n-roll, urban, short story, and health and nutrition books.

Natana Prudhomme, Designer
Natana Prudhomme has been a freelance graphic designer for six years. Currently her projects span small business branding and marketing, promotional design for musicians, and independent literary magazines. She has developed the identity of I Street Press at the Sacramento Public Library and designed the magazine Under the Gum Tree. Natana Prudhomme finished her Masters in Studio Art at California State University, Sacramento in May of 2011. When not working to pay the bills, Natana is passionately devoted to developing her art and music.
